Rules

There shall be only two participants in each team of which one will speak for the motion and the other against the motion. A college can send more than one team for the competition.

On the Spot Registration is permitted
-
No late entries are entertained

All the students who are pursuing undergraduate and post-graduate from bonafide colleges and universities shall be qualified to participate in the competition

Teams will not be allowed to observe other participants performance unless they are knocked out from the competition. Scouting of any team will result in disqualification.

It is compulsory to carry college ID cards, participants are also required to carry a letter sealed and signed by your respective college mentioning the relevant details of participants.

Carry a physical copy of registration details with the receipt of payment of registration fees.

Judge’s decision will be considered as final.

Only one entry is allowed per category (Language) from one college.

The medium of the competition will be in English, Hindi or Marathi.

Preliminary Round
-
From each team one speaker will speak 'for the motion' and other speaker will speak 'against the motion'.

Each speaker will get 4+1 minutes to present themselves and 1 minutes for Interrogation (on judges discretion) in Preliminary round.

Results of preliminary round will be announced immediately and the topic for the final round will be given.

Final Round
-
From each team one speaker will speak 'for the motion' and other speaker will speak 'against the motion'.

Topics will be given after the preliminary round for which 30 minutes of time will be allotted for framing the debate for the final round.

Each speaker will get 3+1 minutes to present themselves and 1 minutes for Interrogation (on judges discretion) in Final round.
